 Продовжити розвивати мовленнєві вміння учнів та вдосконалювати вживання лексичних одиниць з теми.

Розвивати комунікативні здібності учнів.

Продовжити розвивати в учнів уміння створювати і виконувати проекти.

Виховувати розуміння в учнів справжньої дружби, ставлення один до одного та до батьків.

  ІІ. T.: I think you like stories. Open your book page 36. Ex.1 (підручник Карп’юк О. Д. , 2005)  . Listen the story “A friend in need is a friend indeed”.

 T.: Now answer the questions ex. 2, page 37.

 T.: Let’s read the text again (ex.1, p. 36) and find out verbs in Past Indefinite tense, translate them into Ukrainian.

1.      Робота в групах. (Виготовлення та презентація міні-проекту: «“A friend in need is a friend  indeed”»)

   Проект

      Учні в групах мають зібраний ними матеріал для підготовки та презентації проекту (картинки чи малюнки, прислів’я українською та англійською мовами, листи до газети «English bridge» ).

       Подай інформацію про друга у вигляді буклету чи плакату.

План проекту:

    В  літературі (: Жовківський А. М., Жовківська Г.А., Івасютин Т. Д. та ін.. Мудрість народна та мудрість міжнародна. Прислів’я , приказки, крилаті вислови та мовні звороти дев’ятьма мовами. – Чернівці:Рута,2004. – 256 с.; Українсько-англійський словничок прислів’їв і приказок. Методична розробка. /Упорядник Л. Паньків, ст.. учитель Мурованської ЗОШ І-ІІІ ст.. – Пустомити, 2004. – 44 с.) знайди прислів’я з української та англійської народної мудрості про дружбу та  друзів, напиши їх та  намалюй малюнки про друзів.

            Розділяй завдання серед групи:

·         робіть дизайн;

·         пишіть текст;

·         знаходьте наочний матеріал ( картини, ескізи, фотографії);
.     класифікуйте зібраний матеріал.

           Об’єднайте роботи учнів. Зробіть презентацію проекту перед класом.  

Напиши лист (свою думку про друга) в шкільну газету «English bridge» (or do Ex.5, p. 10).

True love never grows old//Old love does not rust. Old friends and old wine are best. Стара любов не ржавіє. Для приятеля нового не полишай старого. Старий друг найкращий.

Old friends are better than new.  Нових друзів наживає, а старих не забувай.

Rats desert a sinking ship. Calamity is man’s true touchstone. На обіді всі сусіди, а прийшла біда – тікають , як вода. Друг пізнається в біді.

False friends are worse than open enemies. I fear Greeks even when bringing gifts. Gifts from enemies are dangerous.  Краще відвертий ворог, ніж фальшивий друг. Подарунки від ворогів небезпечні. З ведмедем дружиш – тримайся за сокиру.

A friend in need is a friend indeed.  Prosperity makes friends? And adversity tries them. Друг пізнається в біді.

A good friend is worth more than a hundred relatives. Вірність приятеля – то найбільший скарб.

He that goes borrowing goes sorrowing. Друга не втрачай, в борг не давай.

Life is drab without friendship. Дружба – найбільший скарб.

Don’t bear a friend ill will. Дружбу пам’ятай , а зло забувай.

A man is known by the company he keeps.  З ким пристаєш, таким зістаєш.

Love is the mother of love. Love is the reward of love. Любов породжує любов. Люби, якщо хочеш, щоб полюбили тебе.

Between friends all is common .У друзів усе спільне.

A friend to everybody is a friend to nobody. Друг для усіх, нікому не є другом.

He who has thousands of friends has none. Приятелів тьма, а вірного друга нема. Людей багато, друзів обмаль.

My Family and Friends

The Subject of the Lesson: Our little brothers

Objectives: to practice reading, speaking and writing skills;

-         to develop pupils’ reading skills and do project;

-         to develop pupils’ skills to think logically;

-         to teach students’ to express their opinion;

-         to practice pupils to work in pairs and groups;

-         to teach them to love their pets, to  be kind to them.

Procedure

 T.:  Good morning. I’m glad to meet you. How are you?  Last time we spoke about friendship and kind friends. Today we’ll speak about pets as our little brothers.

T.:  Who has got a pet in the family? What pet is it? What is your favorite animal? І’d like to read  poems about pets. Let’s read.

Three little cats

Three little cats

Went out one day

Not for a walk

And not to play.

They went to find

Some milk to drink.

Yes! They found some.

Where do you think?

By every door.

A jar they found.

They drank the milk

Without a sound.

ІІ. T : Before reading the text I’d like you to practice pronouncing some words and expressions. Repeat after me: sledge, until, move, frozen, could not stand up, again.

T.   Your home-work was to read a text. What is the name of it?

 Р.:It’s “Toby”.

Play game: «Microfon»

Т.:      Now answer my questions.

-         What season was it?

-         What did Fred tell Toby to do?

-         How long did Toby watch the sledge?

-         Why didn’t Toby run home?

-         Why was the poor dog so frozen that he could not stand up?

-         What do you think of Fred?

-         Will it be a good lesson for Fred?

Speaking    

1)  T.  Role-play. Work in pairs. Give questions to the text and answer them. Ask each other.

                                                                        Projekt

Work in groups of four or five.

Who is your pet? Present the information about your pet in a booklet or poster. (Plan: the pet’s names/ looks like/ can do/ character (clever, kind, strong, quick …)/ a good friend). Find pictures, photographs for it and include the most interesting and important facts there. Divide task among your group:

·        make a design;

·        write text;

·        find visual material (pictures, sketches, photographs);

·        classify the selected material. (Use preposition and adjectives).

Combine the work of all students. Present your project to the class.

1)    Після захисту проектів. Використовується « асоціативний кущ». На дошці картинка собаки та кота. Діти вибирають прикметники які використали в проекті для характеристики улюбленців , виписують їх на листочках різних кольорів.( Наприклад: прикметники , що характеризують позитивну сторону улюбленця  - рожевого, а прикметники , що характеризують негативну сторону – жовтого). Роблять висновок.

2)    Бесіда про відповідальне ставлення до тварин.

Т.: Dear pupils! I want to tell you that the story about Toby teaches us many things. We must be kind to pets. We must be responsible for them. If you have a pet, you must take care of it. It means you should feed it, wash it, take it for a walk or train it. Your pet becomes a member of you family. Remember about it and try to be good friends to you pets.

We like to read. We like to play but we like animals.

Many people have got pets. They are: cats, dogs, cows, hedgehogs, parrots, rabbits …

We have got a pet in our family too.

 They are: cat and dog.

They are funny:

          

   Cat’s name: Murka, Karmelita, Liza, Harfild, Vasia, Toma, Markiza, Murchyk.

   Dog’s name: Rex, Ralf, Topik, Elia, Halas, Kashtanka, Tuzik.

Cats are white, black, stripe .They are soft and fluffy. They are clever, proud, neat, quiet, sometimes lazy, beautiful, charming and attractive.

      

Dogs are white, black, red and brown. They are soft and fluffy. They are clever, strong, proud, brave, big and little, quiet and noisy, sometimes wicked and aggressive, but they are charming and attractive.

 Dog and cat are the loveliest in the world.

T.: Good morning, everybody! I’m glad to see you. How are you today?

Cl.: Good morning! We are glad to see you, too. We are fine, thank you.

T.: Let’s begin our lesson. Today we are going to travel. We’ll see a country of different people. Here’s the magic Engine. It will help you. But we should read and show a special poem about it. Are you ready? Begin.

T.: But to make our Engine run fast we should find a special word. Look. Read. Copy out:
